I love to read all kinds of children's stories and write for 8-12-year-olds, mostly adventure sagas set in contemporary rural England.
In 2017, I founded the Bellport Children's Festival, a whimsical, immersive children's storytelling festival set on Isabella Rossellini's newly named MAMA Farm on Long Island.
Until university, I lived a stone's throw from Sherwood Forest and my father really was the High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire, England. I honestly believed I was Robin Hood's cousin and spent my summers practicing archery, ambushing, and competitive tree climbing.
Today I live in Brooklyn, NY with my husband, three rambunctious children and a long line of lost pets.
